My Life is very Exciting :)

I was vacuuming yesterday and my vacuum exploded, leaving a small pile of dirt on Josie's floor that I had to sweep up. Sweep up. So I need a new vacuum. And I need some recommendations. Does anyone have a fabulous vacuum they wish everyone had? I'm not exactly a vacuum connoisseur, so I really need some help here.

Hey- I actually know something about this! Our vacuum was lameo and broken so I did a bunch of research a few months ago. We got the Bissell Powerforce Turbo from WalMart. It had good reviews everywhere we looked. The Turbo was a little more than the regular one but it has HEPA filtration and washable filters which we wanted. I've been liking it so far :) Hope this helps. Love you!

We had a bagless Bissell that broke after like 2 years. We even went to a repair shop. Their recommendation? Always buy a vacuum that has a bag--they might not look as cool, but they last a lot longer. So now we have a hoover from Walmart I think. It was under a hundred dollars and very lightweight. We're happy with it and almost surprised it has outlived the Bissell.

I have no response to that!

That is so funny because my vacume did the other day too. I have had it for 10 years. It is a Hoover Wind tunell. So that has to be a good one to last for so long. I heard the Dyson is great but really expensive. Good luck.

I can recommend the RIDGID 2-in-1 from Home Depot. It goes for about $100, sometimes less. Great suction, large capacity, and has a detachable blower.

We've had a Hoover WindTunnel bagless for about 10 years. Had to replace the motor once ($100), but overall pretty happy with it.

Actually what I said is that I vote for the hoover wind tunnel too, I got one a few years ago after Melanie's recommendation-the only thing that I think would make it better is getting the boys to use it!

Hey Rachael! I was so excited to find you and Dan's blog!

Everyone out here in California LOVES and swears by their Dysons. They are totally expensive, but they "never lose suction" and it's amazing the stuff the pick up even after you've just vacuumed with another vacuum.
